On 15th November 2011, I met a stranger. On the same day, I made a friend and of course, welcomed my new colleague from the fraternity. Nargis Fakhri is my favourite non-fiction and there's no denying that. Whatever the weather department predicts, trust me when I say that you'll get blown away when you come face to face with Fakhri. Her sarcasm is sexy and her humour high on 'hahahahaha'! Curling her gangly legs beneath her in the couch, Nargis sips at her coffee while she recounts her first 'fast food' date, and then asks me my birth sign and talks about The Bagel Shop to my next get-together at my pad. But seriously, it's just not me - the world is falling in love with her. It's like all love songs start to play in your head. Try giving her a guitar and she'd look like that New York's grand bourgeois aura from another time, that makes her seem a little like someone from the 1950s. She is free of makeup and jewellery and guess what? She isn't sporting any eternity diamond ring on the wedding finger either. She is all there and no facade. Now there's one thing about Nargis and Me that's common - we both can cook. Yes, there came that little moment when she asked me, "You want to be my maid? That's awesome!" But that came after this - "If you want a maid in your new house Nargis, you know you can call me." Ok, I'm just finding reasons how to end this most memorable 'date' of mine. But trust me, my fingers aren't stopping. They love Fakhri too. So here's how I will end this. If there is one word I can describe Nargis Fakhri in her entirety, it would be 'uncensored'. Yes, she doesn't like to censor herself and doesn't like her opponent to either, that's 'me'. I ponder for a second and recall that Fakhri doesn't believe in materialistic pleasures. And before I knew it, she planted that beautiful 'kiss' on my 'material cheek'. That was three weeks ago. Now I go to my mirror everyday and check my cheek. I put off the lights and check again. The lip marks have disappeared but that kiss has stayed forever. I am certain that God is a man because he has made her one of a kind.
Presenting you Part 3 of 'On a Date with Nargis Fakhri' only on Bollywood Hungama. I've named it - The 'Kiss' n 'Tell' exclusive! I love you Nargis. Muaah!
Nargis Fakhri: I think Indian men are scared of me. Are you scared of me?
Devansh Patel: Are you out of your mind? No! -

(We raise our coffee mugs, smile and cheers. We finally made the two mugs meet. How cool is that?)
NF: I think we are running late. Let's speed date.
DP: (laughs) You are funny. Anyway, you have a connection with Candice Boucher too?
NF: Yea! My best friend in New York is best friends with her.
DP: What? They aren't dating are they?
NF: Oh no! They aren't.
DP: Just asked. Now-a-days a lot of best friends start dating, you see.
NF: Oh! I never dated my best friend. But it's good to be bringing two people together. Isn't that nice? You can make a connection and say - I brought them together.
DP: Recall your first proper date with a man.
NF: My first proper date. Let me think.
(Nargis thinks. Then she fumbles and again thinks and utters....)
NF: A proper date? I think I was a teenager and I guess it must've been in some fast food restaurant like McDonalds or something (laughs out loud).
DP: Two Happy Meals please!!!
NF: (laughs) Yea!
(Nargis pauses again and thinks)
NF: What's your birth sign?
DP: I knew that was going to come somewhere in our conversation. Thanks to you being so free spirited and spiritual.
NF: Are you a Gemini or something?
DP: No! I am Taurean.
NF: Oh! Taurean?
DP: What sign are you?
NF: I am a Libran
DP: My 'ex' was a Libran too.
NF: Do you hate her or love her?
DP: She's 'ex'. Let's leave it to that.
NF: Oh! I'm sure it's lasted long. -
DP: But we should go out sometime NF: Yea where? DP: Yes we should. We should go to Leopolds Cafe or Mondegar in town. Mumbai is much more than just the concrete buildings. NF: You are so right. But that's where I go. I sit in the Bagel shop and Candies often.
DP: Wow! Never spotted you since the past year or so. I thought our 'date' could've been better if it was in the Bagel shop or Candies. What say?
NF: Yes but sometimes...
DP: ...sometimes it's good because you have a reason to meet the second time.
NF: (laughs) yes. We will see.
DP: But hey, do you cook food Nargis?
NF: Not as of now because I am shifting my house but I do, yes.
DP: Wow! If ever you need to call a 'maid' who you want to cook, just pick up your phone and call me.
NF: (laughs) You want to be my 'maid'? That's awesome. But what kind of food do you cook? Do you cook?
DP: Yes I do. Almost everything.
NF: Oh yes! You must've done it in London while studying and working. That's the difference between an individual coming from the overseas and an Indian living in India. Over there you need to wash your own pants. Here you get them washed. Amazing!
DP: I don't think it's about knowing or learning how to cook. It's about passion.
NF: Where do you live?
DP: Santacruz. Not far from where you live.
NF: So, you're going to have a get together?
DP: I am soon.
NF: Ok, one last question. And make it a good one (quirky smile)
DP: Anyone knows where I can get a rose or a bouquet of rose?
(I find a bunch of pink flowers at an arm's length kept in a glass vase. I didn't care much and in a true Bollywood style, came from behind Nargis and surprised her and uttered....)
DP: There you go my love. Behind every successful woman, there stands a man.
NF: (laughs) that is so the opposite. But hey, you should really do video from now on.
(We get up from our cute little couch and then do some madness. Madness included a sketch of me by Nargis, a beautiful kiss and that parting 'never say goodbye' hug)

DP: So, what’s next? NF: After Rockstar? Well, I don’t know. I came in this film by accident. It was ‘kismat’. DP: Wow! You know the words. NF: I know a lot of words but I won’t say it. NF: I am trying to be a lady. Neat and clean (laughs).
DP: Have you heard about or seen Russell Peters?
NF: That comedian, right? No, I haven't but please remind me and I will YouTube him.
DP: I've got the latest episode of his.
NF: God! You should've given that to me as a gift.
DP: You've ruined it.
NF: No! I haven't. You don't know me. Once you know me you'll get it but even if it's a book or an article or something. That's what stimulates me and that's what I appreciate too.
DP: Do you know people like you are really hard to find?
NF: I've heard that so many times - Please don't change. Be how you are, etc, etc.
DP: But you should not change. Why should you?
NF: That's what I am thinking.
DP: No! Don't think even.
NF: Actually you're right. I don't wanna think even. You're absolutely right.
DP: Yup! Coz the moment you think, that's what triggers the wrong stuff.
NF: I go with the flow. That's what I do. I allow the universe to put its hand out and the universe allows me to decide whether I choose to take its hand or not. That's how I live.
