The music of the album Koi Aanay Wala Hai takes a lot of inspiration from contemporary British rock & music from 60's and 70's. It features 8 energetic tracks composed by the duo Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood. Both Faisal and Bilal have sung in the album and they believe it’s their best work so far. Even Shridhar Subramaniam, M.D. Sony BMG, seems excited with the album, “We have been associated with Strings for over 5 years now and have released great stuff like Dhaani and Naajanay Kyu. Now a part of this longstanding relationship is John Abraham with Koi Aanay Wala Hai and that’s truly a matter of pride for us. The music and the video are exceptional. So, we’re very sure of a great response to this one!â€
Well with Strings, Sony BMG and John Abraham joining hands this video and album should indeed be worth the wait.
The video for Koi Aanay Wala Hai is also touted as the most expensive Indipop video ever. Well known ad filmmaker Ravi Udyawar has directed the video. The video shot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is indeed quite a masterpiece with exceptional camerawork and special effects. Apparently, the SFX itself took 3 months of post-production work. This includes editing the huge cranes from the frames, digitally simulating John’s avatar and his flying stunts.
One of the highlights of this album is the video featuring John Abraham. The actor who has proved his mettle in films like Jism, Dhoom, Water, etc would be presented in a never before seen avatar. The Bollywood hunk would be seen as an ‘Angel’ with wings et al out to help a girl in trouble. If angels start looking like John, we are sure all the girls would love to get into some more trouble and call out their favorite angel for help.
One of the most popular Pakistani bands, Strings, is back after a gap of four years with their latest album Koi Aanay Wala Hai, which is being released by Sony BMG on May 19. Joining Strings in the lead video of the album is none other than Bollywood hunk John Abraham. It may be recalled that John had earlier appeared along with Strings and Sanjay Dutt in the promotional track ‘Yeh Hai Meri Kahani’ for his film Zinda. But this time things are set to be much bigger and better.
