Jacqueline Fernandez who is on a high after the super success of her last release Murder 2 flagged off a Bike Expedition by differently-abled riders to 'Build Back Better In Leh' with Habitat for Humanity India. Jacqueline looked fresh and lovely in a simple white blouse paired with black jeggings.
The expedition was flagged off yesterday, 31st July at 9.00 am IST by Jacqueline, at Carter Road promenade in Khar opposite Cafe Coffee Day.
A group of five differently-abled riders of Convoy Control Club kick started their unique motorbike expedition to build homes for flood & mudslide affected families in Leh through Habitat for Humanity India's Disaster Response Programme. The expedition is led by Mr. Vinod Rawat - a Jaipur Foot user. Of the other four riders, one of them is affected by polio, one with a hand deformity and two are Jaipur Foot users.
Their journey starts from Mumbai and they will ride through major cities in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir besides covering Delhi and Chandigarh. The riders will interact with the media and local citizens and hope to spread the message that all adversity can be conquered despite the odds. The expedition will conclude on 26th August in Mumbai.
