Himesh gets haunted:
Himesh Reshammiya made quite a sensational acting debut in 2007 with Aap Kaa Surroor. The music composer-singer- actor is now busy getting ready for his second film which is a remake of the classic, Karz. However, can you imagine what it would be like if Himesh decides to do a remake/sequel to the 2007 smash hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Hmmm….Himesh playing the quirky psychiatrist would make for some interesting viewing but, in this flick, Vidya's 'Manjulika' ghost would be replaced by the spirits of late Pancham Da and singer Mukesh, both of whom were accused by Himesh of singing in Nasal voice. - Sanjay blogged out by Aamir: Aamir Khan sure has a problem with anything Black. Aamir Khan sure has a problem with anything Black. Hence, when he directed his first film Taare Zameen Par, he made it a point to make it as colourful as he could, what with painting competitions et al. While his comments may not have gone too well with the 2 B's of B-town, Bachchan and Bhansali, the maverick director seems to have started his own blog to counter attack the perfectionist Khan and give him a dose of his own medicine. - The year gone by (2007) had an interesting mix of films. The year gone by (2007) had an interesting mix of films. The first few months of any New Year are usually spent talking about the dozen odd award functions which take place, a post-mortem of the year gone by and of-course what's in store for the New Year.
While a lot has been spoken and written about all of the above, we couldn't resist sharing some really wild, wacky spoofs of some of the films, events and personalities who made news in B-town last year.
These images appeared in the January 2008 issue of film magazine, Cine-Blitz. So, enjoy and have the time of your life.
Chuck De team:
One of 2007's most appreciated films, Chak De India, may have been about team spirit and the winning philosophy, but the supporting cast of 16 girls who were seen with King Khan didn't quite take home any real message from the film. While on screen most of them did display the friendly vibes, post release, each one of them tried to hog as much of the limelight as they could. While some cribbed about Vidya Malvade and Sagarika Ghatge getting attention, the other 'chicks' like Aryan Menon (Gul Iqbal), cried hoarse about not getting enough screen time. As for the rest, the image says it all.
