If you are one of those who feel that Imran Khan and Genelia D'souza are the only two best things that has happened since Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, then, we strongly advice you to watch the film yet again. That's because, besides Genie and Imran, the other name that has become one of the front runners amongst the Gen-Next stars is none other than today's birthday girl Manjari Fadnis. Today, as she celebrates her grand birthday, she walks down a nostalgic memory lane with Bollywood Hungama by sharing some childhood information.
This snap was taken in Shimla, with my all time favorite news reader (although I do not remember his name now!). What is so special about this snap is the fact that, the TV in the picture is Onida. Least did I know or had imagined that; I will land up endorsing the same brand one day!
The last but not the least! This snap was taken just before me leaving for a fancy dress competition, where I was playing a typical 'bhaaji wali' (one of my most memorable roles till date!). Also, look at my poor Elsa (Lhasa Apso puppy), who was looking so confused, because of all the chaos!
All in all, growing up years were nothing but were pure sheer fun and simply THE MOST unforgettable years of my life... rather anyone's life!
Since my Dad's in the army, we had the opportunity of travelling all over the country. This snap was taken when I was singing at the 'Corps Day' of the 'Signals' Regiment. I was the only kid allowed there, because, I used to sing & entertain them, while rest of the kids were always locked up in the children's room!
Talk about the 'perks' of being a 'born performer'!
This was taken during my very first stage performance, when I was just 3 yrs old. I still remember dancing to the track of 'Main ek chhoti katputli'! At the risk of sounding a bit boastful, let me tell you guys, what a performance that was!
This snap is really special. It has my dearest mom and me during my second birthday. I was really tiny enough not to know and understand the concept of 'Looking into the camera' (laughs).
