"I do enjoy being around people, but I'm also a loner. My parties are huge fun; a message goes out inviting everyone over for food and games; alcohol you get yourself, since I don't drink and I don't like the impersonal feel of bartenders and caterers. I'll usually limit the guest list to 20 or so; setting the table, sorting out the crockery and cutlery, deciding the menu are all my domain. Italian, Hyderabadi and anything that involves baking. Honestly, if I were marooned on an island, I would figure out a way to build a house or light a fire. I don't need a husband to help out if the pressure cooker suddenly bursts, or if the bulbs require changing and the gadgets have to be fixed. He doesn't have to take over my accounts or run our home.
