While item numbers are gradually turning western with contemporary fashion, Paoli Dam in this film will be seen dancing in a saree. On this decision, Satish says, "She looked nice in that yellow saree. When I saw that look, I just loved it and thought it was perfect for her. Women in sarees have always looked good; may it be Priyanka in Dostana or Sridevi in Mr. India. Also, I had seen Paoli wearing sarees in Bengali films and thought she looked stunning in it. Hence, I thought, even though it's a club number, she would surely be wearing a saree."

While this item number is peppy, Satish Kaushik revealed that this track is a remix of a popular ghazal of the 70s and 80s. "This song is an adaptation of the Ghulam Ali number Das Ni Sharab which was once popular in every club and bar. His son Aamir Ali has not only revived the song but has also added touches of rock beat and has even given his voice for it. It is a very nice Punjabi number."
Talking about this item number, filmmaker Satish Kaushik says, "It is an interesting funny wacky situation where all the ghosts decide to go to a ghost bar. But only ghosts are allowed there." Ask him why the ghosts possess human hobbies, and Satish laughs as he states, "Our intention is not to make ghosts scary. Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav and others plan to go this club on a Friday where they can see some good looking bhoot - bhootniyan."
Claiming it to be a quirky tale of ghosts, Gang of Ghosts is the remake of the Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat. And now making a special appearance in the film will be Paoli Dam who will be seen dancing as an item girl in the film.
While she entered Bollywood with Hate Story, Satish Kaushik too had a reason behind choosing Paoli as the item girl of this film. He says, "I needed somebody who had dancing skills and a hot body. I think Paoli is hot and she danced very well in this song. In fact, when I told her about it, she immediately agreed to do it. She has even seen the original film. She loved to be a part of it."
