With the haldi and mehendi ceremonies done, it was time for the big night. Yuvraj chose to keep his look simple in a velvet bandhgala jacket teamed with a white churidar and a pair of black jootis. On the other hand, Hazel stepped out clad like typical big fat Indian wedding bride sporting a whute lehenga with a Benarasi border and a heavily adorned sleeveless jacket.
As for the wedding, the ceremony was a traditional Sikh ceremony at the Dera of Baba Ram Singh, which happens to be a Chandigarh Gurudwara. The grand ceremony ended with a magnificent ‘langar’ and an even grander reception at a five-star hotel, which was attended by the couple's family and close friends. Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli, who was in attendance with his ‘boys’, had dual reasons to celebrate.
Seen here during the mehendi, the couple posed for the shutters while striking a pose. By the looks of it, Hazel seemed to be living her dream while Yuvraj just can’t get enough of her.
