After the tremendous response to the Part-1 of the 'Behind the Scenes of Kambakkht Ishq' we bring you some more exclusive shots of all the action that took place on the sets of Kambakkht Ishq. And like last time, we have director Sabbir Khan sharing his experience while filming each of these scenes. This one's a complete must-read!
"This is one of the opening moments where all three of us (Akki, Sylvester and I) are standing on the stage at the Kodak Theatre. I started shooting in the morning with Sylvester as the scene opens with him and then Akshay came and joined us. This is one moment where both the superstars are bonding while I am just soaking in the aura and enjoying it."
"This is a break between one of the shots. It was during an action sequence that I was shooting with Sylvester at Paramount Studios. Very honestly, I left no moment in being around him and having conversations with him on not just films but life in general. He is such a huge star but still he was comfortable with the fact that I was directing him. There were no reservations whatsoever and I guess its due to the fact that apart from being a superstar he is also been a successful writer and director. We just bonded as friends and shared some great stories."
"This shot was taken while filming an important scene outside an original American courthouse. It's a slightly dramatic scene between Akshay and Kareena and we all (Aftab, Vindu and myself) are staring at Akki and Bebo as they are completely into character and almost tearing each other's clothes. I think the intensity of all three of us looking at them is just right."
"This is a small montage from a song featuring Akshay and Denise that I shot on Rodeo Drive. I am walking down the stairs towards the camera. You can see some of my crew members around, all of whom were buzzing with energy even though it was early morning (6 a.m.) at Rodeo Drive."
"Here you can see Akshay and me checking out a very intense shot on the monitor. This is the shot where he's jumped off 5 storeys and he quickly removed his harness and came down to see how the shot came through."
