Aamir Khan may be one the few superstars who is not yet on the popular social networking site Twitter but that doesn't mean he doesn't interact with his fans. Aamir, in fact, has always gone out of his way to interact with his fans through his own blog and through other mediums.
Only recently the actor, who was holidaying with his family in France, took out some time to meet up with his fans in Paris. Through his blog, Aamir had invited his fans to meet up with him in Paris on the 2nd of May. In his own words, the actor had said, "I am going to be in Paris on the 2nd of May and would very much like to meet up with those of you who are interested. Will restrict the group to 5. Each one of you can bring one more person with you. If you happen to be below 18 years of age you will have to accompanied by an adult."
Finally the D-day arrived on the 2nd of May when Aamir, dressed in a causal white kurta and blue jeans, arrived at the said venue to meet his fans. Aamir interacted with them at length and even posed for photographs and signed autographs. We bring you some pics from this memorable event which has been posted by Aamir's fans on www.aamir-khan.net.
From what the actor has posted in his blog, he surely seemed to have enjoyed this interaction with his fans. "It was such a pleasure to meet all of you yesterday. I hope that you were well looked after, and had a good time. And made your way back home safely, because I know that some of you came from quite far. I really enjoyed meeting all of you. Thank you so much for coming."
Needless to say the actor received an overwhelming response from his fans and his manager Binky had to go through the arduous task of selecting a few lucky fans. Says Aamir, "The ones that my manager Binky has picked will be contacted. It is of course a random selection, my only cue to her was to pick the people I have not previously met."
Aamir even had words of apology for those whom he couldn't meet. "All those of you who live in and around Paris, and wanted to come but were not picked, my apologies. Much as I would love to meet all of you, as you would understand, it is impossible to accommodate everyone. And thank you for being so patient and sporting. And all my dear dear bloggers... hopefully, god willing, I will live long enough to make it to all the cities that you have invited me to... and so will you!"
One can surely say that with this gesture, Aamir has only multiplied his fan-following.
