Salman Khan used to always tell Aamir that he can paint well but Aamir never took him seriously. One fine morning, Salman landed up at his place with canvas and other painting materials and woke him up. He told Aamir that he's going to prove that he can paint well. Salman then took colours on his palm and filled the whole canvas. He then engraved with his bare fingers. Then he gifted this beautiful painting to Aamir which is there in the background of this picture. (Image Courtesy: 'The Week' Magazine)

This was clicked at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium and I used to work next door at The Indian Express. Somebody informed me about this shoot. I knew Dev Anand saab very well and he was friendly with everybody. The moment I reached the stadium, Dev saab welcomed me and graciously allowed me to take some stills. Aamir did have a bit of Dev Anand saab in him. This is especially evident in the film Mann.
