Recently, Varun Dhawan and Sahil Vaid reunited and took to the opportunity to recreate a small scene between the two from the film. Varun Dhawan, recently had his wisdom tooth extracted and hearing his voice it seems like the numbness in his gum and tongue and has not completely gone away. Sharing the video, Varun Dhawan wrote, "Humpty and Poplu volume 1 Cheeks pink ho raha hai bhai ke"

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania follows the story of Humpty and Kavya Pratap Singh (Alia Bhatt). Kavya who is about to be married to an NRI reaches Delhi to shop for her wedding, but instead meets Humpty and falls in love with him.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is currently promoting his upcoming film Coolie No. 1 with co-star Sara Ali Khan. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Videos in Christmas 2020.
