It’s that time of the year again! It’s 15th August- the TV airs patriotic films, the only songs that come on are about India, you instinctively feel a sense of pride and patriotism. Here are a few ways you can enjoy the Independence Day vibe without being too extra.

1) Badge it Up

Take inspiration from Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, and others to amp up your Independence Day attire

Put on a simple outfit and you can pin up small badges on the collar, on your cuffs. Style your basic outfits with small badges and it’s your simple but Patriotic twist.

2) Desi Swag

Feeling Indian- pull out your kurtas pair it with jeans, chudidars. Add a desi funk or add the much-needed casual touch with denims. Style your kolhapuris, with any look or some juttis.

3) Scarf it Up

Let’s get back to basics. Style a simple outfit and amp it up with scarves and bandana, use your whites, green, blues and oranges to add that Indian touch.

4) Tri-Colour Mood

Dress up in either one of the colours. Pull out your orange, green, white and blue- style then with anything simple and you’re ready to roll! You don’t have to go all over the top with all three colours, just the one shade with denims, pants, trousers, chudidaars- just about anything and you’ve got it covered!
