Actor Sunny Deol took to social media to share a fun in-flight video featuring his son Karan Deol, amid the ongoing promotions of their upcoming film Batwara 1947. In the clip, the father-son duo recreated one of their dialogues from the film’s trailer.
Ahead of the film’s release, the Batwara 1947 cast has been travelling to several cities as part of the promotional tour, interacting with audiences and media along the way.
In the video, Sunny Deol is seen sipping tea before delivering the line, followed by Karan Deol repeating it. He also thanked audiences for the response to the dialogues from the film.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Baap Beta Dialoguebaazi Thank you all for showing so much love to our dialogues, socha thodi hawa mein masti karte hain. Kaisa laga?”
The trailer of Batwara 1947 offers a glimpse into the 1947 Partition, portraying the tragedy of the period alongside the courage, compassion and hope of ordinary people amid the violence and upheaval.
The film features an ensemble cast including Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol, Preity G Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh, and marks the reunion of director Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol after nearly three decades.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Batwara 1947 is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit and is set for worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
