Harshvardhan Rane amassed a huge following his Hindi film debut, Sanam Teri Kasam (2016). The film failed to work at the box office initially but went on to achieve cult status. It was re-released in February 2025 and emerged as the biggest re-release hit ever. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat was also a hit, making it clear that Harshvardhan is an actor to watch out for.

When asked if Harshvardhan Rane's upcoming solo films would enjoy an advantage at the box office, Milap Zaveri replied, “100%. Harsh's next solo film, Silaa, will get a very good opening as it would be more than a year since Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. He's also not come out with a film since then, and people have been waiting to see him again. Thankfully, he's got a great line-up. Besides Silaa, he's also got Police Company, Force 3 and many more in the pipeline. All the fans of Deewaniyat and romance will love Silaa and hopefully go for it in a big way.”

Milap Zaveri has often admitted that he wants to make another film with Harshvardhan Rane. He confirmed, “I surely want to make another film with him. I love him to bits. We talk almost every day. After I finish my next with Aditya Roy Kapur, I surely want to make a film with him. This time, it couldn't happen as Harsh was busy with other commitments, while I had wanted to work with Adi for many years.”

He continued, “I am dying to make a film with Harsh. Whenever he shoots with Ram Gopal Varma (for Police Company), Omung Kumar sir (for Silaa) or Bhav Dhulia (for Force 3), I get so jealous of them as they are shooting with him! He's a director's delight. So, I am 1000% going to reunite with Harsh.”
