The much-awaited trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was finally unveiled today at a multiplex in Mumbai by the film’s principal cast, director Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Jackky Bhagnani, Honey Bhagnani and Himanshu Mehra. The event was entertaining from the very beginning, especially the mutual respect shown by Akshay Kumar and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The event began with Prithviraj getting embarrassed with Akshay showering praises on him. This prompted Akshay Kumar to state, “Prithvi, come on. Take a compliment! You’re really good! I may have done more films than you, but you are a much better actor!”

Later, Akshay Kumar talked highly of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s other upcoming film, The Goat Life, which arrives in cinemas this Thursday, March 28. Akshay said, “I don’t know if you guys are aware that inki ek Malayalam film aa rahi hai.” He forgot the name of the film and Prithviraj and even some journalists sweetly reminded him that it’s called The Goat Life.

Akshay Kumar continued, “He (Prithviraj) showed me the trailer of The Goat Life. I told him to show the film to me whenever there’s a trial. Usually, I don’t go for preview screenings. But I’ll definitely watch his film. And I guess this man has worked on that film for the last 2-3 years?”

When Prithviraj Sukumaran corrected that he worked on the film for 16 years, Akshay Kumar couldn’t contain his shock. He said, “16 years?! Bete, kya kar rahe the 16 saal tak? This man has worked on that film for 16 long years. Unbelievable! Yahan 16 mahine ke baad ek film ke upar humse kaam nahin kiya jaata. Hats off to him. It’s inspirational how he must have lived with the role.”

Akshay Kumar even said, “I hope you guys have seen the trailer of The Goat Life. If they haven’t seen it, I don’t mind if it’s played right now. I don’t mind!”

When Akshay asked Prithviraj Sukumaran, “Have you produced it?”, the actor answered, “No, sir. I have only acted, fortunately. It’s a very expensive film (laughs).”
