The much-awaited trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was finally unveiled today at a multiplex in Mumbai by the film’s principal cast, director Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Jackky Bhagnani, Honey Bhagnani and Himanshu Mehra. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have done death-defying stunts in the film, as evident in the trailer. Prithviraj Sukumaran even remarked, “To be putting these superstars through such risky stunts, part of me believes that it’s a miracle that they are alive and well today!”

During the question-and-answer session with the media, Akshay Kumar was asked about the riskiest stunt he has performed to date. Akshay didn’t mention the name of the film but it’s clear that he was talking about the aeroplane-based stunt that he performed in Khiladi 420 (2000).

Akshay Kumar said, “The biggest action I have done in my life was when I had to stand on top of a plane. The plane was on the runway. Usko pakadna, uske upar chadna, uske upar khade ho jaana aur fir wahan se hot air balloon pe jump maarna – main samajta tha uss waqt woh paagalpan tha. I was mad, I was crazy to do something like that. I shouldn’t have done it. I tried once in my life to test God. Thank God, I was safe! 70% bachne ke chances nahin the aur 30% bachne ke chances the. It was that difficult, but I would never do it again if I was told to repeat a stunt of this kind.”

Akshay Kumar continued, “Ab main thoda samajdaar ho gaya hoon. Before attempting such stunts, I think 10 times. This is because now I have to preserve myself. It is not about doing crazy things; it is about safety first. Pehle hum chopper se jump maarte the, toh neeche gadde bhi nahin hote the. Kabhi kabhi ghutna toot jaata tha. Kuch bhi ho jaata tha. Now, safety has become a main concern. The insurance facility is there.”

He ended his answer by saying, “Hence, my job is now to preserve myself and keep myself healthy.”
