HERO, the film that has been making headlines for a while now hits screens today. Featuring two star kid debutantes Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, HERO that is produced by none other than Salman Khan, has been the talk of the town. Being a much talked about solo release, all eyes are on the newbies and director Nikhil Advani, but the negative reviews will surely have an impact on the film's business.
Reports coming in from across the country suggest that the film has received a 35-40% opening occupancy rate during morning shows. While this above average opening is being attributed to the involvement of Salman Khan with the film, the rather negative reviews across the board will certainly affect HERO's overall collections during the weekend.
On the whole HERO, despite being promoted well will have to depend on positive audience feedback and word of mouth to post decent collections.
