After last week's release KILL DIL that performed on a very average note, this week we see the release of the much talked about Saif Ali Khan, Kalki Koechlin, Ileana D'Cruz and Govinda starrer HAPPY ENDING. However, despite the audience's anticipation and expectation from the film, HAPPY ENDING has got off to a less than desirable start.
In fact reports suggest that the film has opened on a rather sluggish note with occupancy rate hovering around 40%. The reason being attributed to the film's slow start is that the reviews for the film have been less than forthcoming thus dampening the overall expectations from the film. However, the Punjabi film CHAAR SAHIBZAADE that released in the first week this month continues to attract audience in the Northern sectors.
Though evening and night shows of HAPPY ENDING are expected to show an increase in footfalls, the film will have to rely on strong and positive word of mouth this weekend.
