After last week's nonstarter WELCOME 2 KARACHI, the audiences are hungry for a film that can satiate their quota for entertainment, and have been anxiously awaiting the release of Zoya Akhtar's next DIL DHADAKNE DO. The film which features an ensemble cast comprising of some of the biggest names in the industry has been carrying high expectations from the time its promotions began. But will DIL DHADAKNE DO live up to the expectations and hype that has been generated is question that arises.
Reports coming in from across the country state that DIL DHADAKNE DO opened to a rather mixed response from the audiences, with opening occupancy rates at multiplexes being higher than single screens. The film has got approximately 40% occupancy rate in the opening shows. If that wasn't enough the mixed reviews the film has garnered from critics has added to the audiences' overall indecision to watch the film.
All in all, DIL DHADAKNE DO that caters majorly to the multiplex going audiences is expected to fare better in big metros. But the film will have an uphill task of establishing connect with single screen audiences, and will have to rely heavily on positive word of mouth.
