There was no hype whatsoever for the three new releases - MR. WHITE MR. BLACK, ANAMIKA and PRANALI - THE TRADITION - and it showed in the opening day numbers. The response to the films was below the mark everywhere. The cineplexes are expected to sport a deserted look for yet another week.
However, the industry is hopeful that BHOOTHNATH [next Friday] and JANNAT [May 16] should make the mood upbeat.
