Three action films are running in parallel to each other and while it’s single screens at the mass centers that these are catering to, even multiplexes are finding footfalls. Between the three films, around Rs. 8 crores more came in and while Bollywood can well do with much bigger numbers to make a bigger impact, this is still better than most of pre-Sooryavanshi releases when not even half of this came in on Sundays even when some biggies released since January 2021.
Tadap has been leading the charge this week with Rs. 13.52 crores been accumulated after Sunday brought in Rs. 5.35 crores. A start has definitely been made and though numbers closer to Rs. 20 crores would have been confirmed in the pre-pandemic times for this Sajid Nadiadwala production, what matters is that what’s coming in is decent enough and in the process a new hero has been introduced to the audiences in the form of Ahan Shetty.
