The Tom Holland starrer Spider-Man: No Way Home released a while back in December. Since then the film has been wowing the audience and critics alike. After receiving positive reviews the film opened with a bang with advance booking showing a positive trend for the film’s business. In fact, despite other releases Spider-Man: No Way Home dominated the Indian box office. Now on Day 18 at the box office, the film has managed to draw in a further Rs. 4.75 cr, taking the total collections of the film across the Rs. 200 cr mark.
Currently pegged at Rs. 202.34 cr Spider-Man: No Way Home has managed to become the third Hollywood film to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark at the India box office. Interestingly, the film follows previous releases like Avengers: Endgame that collected Rs. 367.43 cr and Avengers: Infinity War that collected Rs. 228.50 cr at the India box office. As for the business of Spider-Man: No Way Home, trade predictions have been shattered despite the film facing stiff competition from other releases like 83, and Pushpa: The Rise. In fact, despite the competition, and the restricted occupancy rate, the third weekend collections of Spider-Man: No Way Home have shown a rather positive trend.
Going forward, it is likely that Spider-Man: No Way Home will see collections remaining more or less stable. In fact, with releases being rescheduled in light of the increase in Covid-19 cases, the film stands a better chance at the box office.
