The Yash Raj Films production Pathaan directed by Siddharth Anand has been doing immensely well. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham the film which was released across 8,000 screens worldwide has seen its business maintain steady momentum week after week. In fact, the business of Pathaan has consistently been re-establishing new box office benchmarks for Bollywood releases. Now, on its third Friday running, Pathaan has managed to pack a solid punch at the box office, raking in a further Rs. 5.90 cr (Hindi – Rs. 5.75 crore, All Dubbed versions – Rs. 0.15 crore), taking its overall nett collections within the domestic market to a staggering Rs. 464.80 cr (Hindi – Rs. 448.25 crores, Dubbed – Rs. 16.55 crore).
Simultaneously, in the overseas markets as well, Pathaan has been enjoying a dream run. Released across 2,500 screens overseas Pathaan has now recorded USD 41.78 million in the overseas territories alone. This massive collection coupled with the domestic gross collections of Rs. 558.40 cr has managed to push the business of the film past the Rs. 900 cr mark. Collecting a staggering Rs. 901 cr at the worldwide box office, Pathaan has now managed to emerge as the all-time highest-grossing Bollywood release at the worldwide box office.
Interestingly, if such a feat was not enough, Pathaan which faces little to no competition in either the domestic or international markets is expected to continue its box office journey. Currently, all eyes are on, whether the film makes it past the Rs. 1000 cr mark. In fact, based on current trends and trade predictions, the overall worldwide collections of Pathaan are likely to cross the Rs. 1000 cr mark by the end of the weekend.
