The craze for Pathaan is skyrocketing with each day and this is reflected in the mammoth advance booking sales the film has been generating. The latest feat that the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has achieved is that it has become the third highest film post-pandemic in terms of the number of tickets sold in advance booking for the first day after KGF: Chapter 2 and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva in the post-pandemic phase till late last night.
To break it down, the Yash-starrer sold 5.15 lakh tickets in advance booking for the first day and holds the first position while Brahmastra sold 3.02 lakhs. Pathaan is closing in on the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer as it reached 2.65 lakh till late last night.
However, the important thing to be noted here is that Pathaan’s advance booking hasn’t ended yet. There are still three days to go for the film to release. Hence, it has a great chance of taking its number even higher. It will be interesting to see how high the number reaches till the day Pathaan is released all over.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. The film is all set to release in cinemas on January 25.
