Mahavatar Narsimha (Hindi) is continuing to find audience, and how. With the release of War 2 and Coolie a couple of weeks, a large volume of screens and shows had been taken away from the mythological animation film. With 5000+ screens being dedicated to the Independence Day weekend releases, Mahavatar Narsimha had only a select shows for itself. However, it still did well enough to collect Rs. 23.24 crores in its fourth weekend, which was actually similar to what Coolie (Hindi) did in its first week. Post that, it did manage to get back screens in the fifth week and brought in Rs. 12.75 crores.
Now in its sixth weekend, the film has collected Rs. 3.33 crores already and should end the week with a total in excess of Rs. 5 crores. There is Param Sundari for competition already and then Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files arrive this Friday. As a result of that, the pace will slow down further for sure.
Currently standing at Rs. 180.57 crores, the film will stretch to cross Rs. 190 crores eventually. However, it will unfortunately miss an entry into the Rs. 200 Crore Club. Still, the film is a BLOCKBUSTER for sure, and a surprising one at that!
