Kesari has the second highest first three day collections for an Akshay Kumar starrer, beats Singh Is Bliing

Akshay Kumar’s saga of valour and bravery, Kesari, is scoring quite well at the Box Office. In the process, it has also scored a personal record for him, what with the first three days turning out to be the second best ever for a film of his.

He has consistently scored a weekend in excess of Rs. 50 crore film after film, be it Singh Is Bliing, Housefull 3, Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, Jolly LLB 2 or Rustom. However, the best was reserved for 2.0, the Hindi dubbed version of which went past the Rs. 60 crore mark and brought in Rs. 63.25 crore in its first three days (it had released on a Thursday).

Now Kesari, which too released on Thursday, has come the second best, what with Rs. 56.56 crore coming till Saturday.
