The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri released a while back and since then the film has been raking in the moolah at the box office. After opening on a modest note the business of the Anupam Kher starrer witnessed exponential growth in collections over its opening weekend and subsequent weekdays as well. In fact, even on its third weekend running the business of The Kashmir Files managed to remain steady despite the release of the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR. Now on its third Monday running the film has collected a further Rs. 3.10 cr.

Despite the buzz surrounding the film the business of The Kashmir Files does not manage to surpass certain other releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 7.95 cr, PK that collected Rs. 4.42 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 4.35 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 4.25 cr, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 4.03 cr, Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 3.43 cr, and Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 3.20 cr.
Going forward, the business of The Kashmir Files that has begun to show signs of slowing down is likely to continue its box office run. Currently pegged at Rs. 231.28 cr, the Vivek Agnihotri directorial is expected to near the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of its third week in theatres. Trade predictions state that The Kashmir Files faces stiff competition from the recently released film RRR and will take a further hit to its business with the release of the John Abraham starrer Attack on April 1.
