The Rishab Shetty film Kantara has proved to be unstoppable at the box office. The stunning success of the film so far has shocked onlookers, fast becoming a cinematic wonder that has created a rage. In fact, since its release, the film has been ringing the box office register in both the domestic and international markets. Now, the film has achieved yet another milestone at the global box office.
As per reports, Kantara has now managed to cross the Rs. 400 cr. gross mark at the domestic box office. Looking closer at the collections of Kantara, the film has managed to draw in Rs. 168.50 cr. gross in Karnataka, Rs. 60 cr. gross in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, Rs. 12.70 cr. gross in Tamil Nadu, Rs. 19.20 cr. gross in Kerala, and a further Rs. 96 cr. gross in North India. Coupled with this stellar performance in the domestic market, Kantara has been raking in the moolah overseas as well. Collecting Rs. 44.50 cr. grosser in the overseas market, the total business of the film is currently pegged at Rs. 400.90 cr.
Going further, while Kantara continues to dominate at the box office, the film has fast become one of the highest grossers of recent times. As for the film itself, Kantara was released in the Kannada version and Hindi version on September 30 and October 14 respectively. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda, under Hombale Films, Kantara features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G in pivotal roles.
