After collections of Rs. 53.66 crores in the opening week, the Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani fronted multi starrer dramedy is rock steady on its second Friday. The Raj Mehtra directorial has collected in the range of Rs. 2.70 to 2.90 crores to take the total collections to Rs. 56.20 crore plus.
The movie has seen a routine drop of 20 percent on the second Friday and has now laid the platform to grow well on Saturday and Sunday. Delhi has continued to be the best faring circuits, though the business in Mumbai was impacted by rains on both Thursday and Friday. It's a nominal difference, but if not for the rains, the movie would have collected Rs. 10 to 12 lakhs more on the two days combined.
If a good growth comes on Saturday and Sunday, the 10-day total would be in the north of Rs. 65 crores and put the film in the race to enter the Rs. 75 crore box office club. The movie will enter the Rs. 100 crore global club by Sunday and become the 4th film of the year to do so after Gangubai, Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
