Monday witnessed the expected correction with Rs. 24.30 crore, a drop of 45.76%, but still a strong weekday number for a non-holiday release. From there, Dhurandhar stabilised remarkably well. Tuesday grew by 17.70% to match its opening day at Rs. 28.60 crore, followed by a steady Rs. 29.20 crore on Wednesday and Rs. 29.40 crore on Thursday.
The impressive consistency through the weekdays is what truly elevates Dhurandhar into blockbuster territory. Early December, once considered an unconventional window, has now produced yet another pan-India performer with legs, following the trend set by Animal (2023) and Pushpa 2 (2024).
Trade experts attribute the film’s momentum to Ranveer Singh’s high-energy performance, strong action set pieces, and a narrative that has connected with both mass and metro audiences. With no major competition until the Christmas releases, Dhurandhar is expected to continue its dominant run and could be eyeing a Rs. 300 crore lifetime total if current trends hold.
