Seven weeks at the box office and Dhurandhar continued to have its victorious run as even on Thursday, it stayed over Rs. 1 crore mark. This has never happened before but then this Aditya Dhar film has been on a record breaking spree and that was on display all over again on Thursday as well when Rs. 1.35 crore came in.

As a result, seventh week collections of the film read Rs. 16.25 crores and that’s again less than 50% drop from the week before which had seen Rs. 28.95 crores being accumulated. There were a couple of other movies that were released (Rahu Ketu and Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos) but neither of these dented the tremendous run of Dhurandhar which has been enjoying an undefeated run ever since its arrival.
There would be a huge impact felt this week though since Border 2 has released. While the biggie has now taken over majority of screens, it’s also practically the first film which is actually going to divert audience attention. Nonetheless, the job has already been done for the Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair, which needs just a show or two per screen to keep bringing in certain footfalls for itself. The last summit left for the film is 900 Crore Club entry and that will be touch and go affair with the total currently standing at Rs. 886.05 crores.
