The Irrfan Khan – Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium released a week ago in China. Directed by Saket Chaudhary the film that did rather well in its first week at the China box office has managed to carry the box office momentum into its second week as well. In fact, the business of Hindi Medium on the first day of its second week has depicted a stead collection rate with the film continuing to retain the second spot on the daily highest grossers list in China.
Collecting USD 1.13 million [Rs. 7.39 cr] on Day 8 the business of Hindi Medium has seen a slight dip in collections over the past few days, however despite this the film continues to draw in the audience. Currently, the total collections of Hindi Medium at the China box office are pegged at USD 25.04 million [Rs. 163.72 cr].
With the business of the film continuing to sustain an average collections of Rs. 6-8 cr per day at the China box office, the overall collections of Hindi Medium are expected to near the Rs. 180 cr mark in the coming few days.
