The Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki that released in China a few days ago is inching its way to the Rs. 50 cr mark at the China box office. After opening on a slow note, the business of Hichki saw good growth over its opening weekend in the Chinese market.
In fact, the Siddharth P Malhotra directorial that features Rani playing a teacher affected with Tourette syndrome was well received by the audience. Despite starting lower down on the daily highest grossers list at the China box office, the business of Hichki has managed to climb its way to the fourth spot. Collecting a further USD 0.78 million [Rs. 5.76 cr] on Day 4, Hichki still retains its 4th position on the list.
As of now, the total collections of Hichki, at the China box office stand at USD 5.03 million [Rs. 37.16 cr]. While the collections of the film are not like the previous Bollywood films that have hit screens in China, expectations are that the film will continue to do business in its first week.
