The Sushant Singh Rajput – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore has been holding strong at the box office since its release a few weeks ago. In fact, though newer releases have hit screens since its release, the Nitesh Tiwari directorial has held its own, wooing the audience with its content.
In this box office report, we take a look at the third week collections of Chhichhore while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 24.23 cr in its third week Chhichhore has manage to beat the collections of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 that had collected Rs. 17.94 cr and even the Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal that had collected Rs. 15.03 cr. However, the third week business of Chhichhore does not surpass the collections of certain other releases like Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 36.85 cr and Kabir Singh that had collected Rs. 36.40 cr. None the less, Chhichhore that has surpassed expectations has managed to claim the third spot as on the third week highest grossers of 2019 list.
Currently, Chhichhore still runs in select locations and is expected to draw in a few more crores before the Gandhi Jayanti mega release War hits screens.
