Chhichhore has crossed the lifetime collections of M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story in just three weeks to emerge as Sushant Singh Rajput’s highest grosser till date. While the Neeraj Pandey directed film had netted Rs. 133.50 crores in its lifetime run, Nitesh Tiwari directed Chhichhore currently stands at Rs. 133.53 crores and is still playing in theatres.
Incidentally, both films have Fox Star Studios attaches to it. For Chhichhore, it has turned out to be a personal milestone for Sajid Nadiadwala as well since this is a huge success for him as well as his banner Nadiadwala Grandson. Next target is Super 30 lifetime which should be surpassed later this week. Their Baaghi would stay untouched though at Rs. 166 crores.
For Sushant Singh Rajput, the film’s huge success has come as a shot in the arm after Sonchiriya which couldn’t even enter the double digit score during its lifetime. On the other hand Shraddha Kapoor is now set for her back to back super successes as her Saaho has already done around Rs. 150 crores in the Hindi version.
