The Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has been near unstoppable at the box office. After hitting a total of 4600 screens within the domestic market last week on Friday the business of the film has been growing by leaps and bounds. In fact, the collections of Tiger Zinda Hai fast breached the Rs. 100 cr mark and now have blown past the Rs. 200 cr mark as well.
In this box office special report we take a look at the opening week collections of Tiger Zinda Hai while comparing the same to previous released films. Collecting Rs. 206.04 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai has now become the third highest all time opening week grosser, unable to surpass the opening week collections of previous releases like Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 247 cr, and Sultan that collected Rs. 229.16 cr.
On the other hand, the opening week collections of Tiger Zinda Hai do manage to out beat other releases like the Aamir Khan starrers Dangal that collected Rs. 197.54 cr and Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 188.99 cr, the Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 184.62 cr, PK that collected Rs. 183.09, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected Rs. 172.82 cr, Krrish 3 that collected Rs. 166.52 cr, and Kick that collected Rs. 164.09 cr.
