Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release Sanju has been rocking the box office. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film which is said to be a biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt has been on a roll since its release last week on Friday. Since then the business of Sanju has been literally unstoppable at the domestic box office.

Collecting a massive Rs. 202.51 cr in just 7 days, Sanju has far surpassed the lifetime collections of Ranbir’s previous releases to emerge as the actor’s highest opening week grosser. In fact, the opening week collections of Sanju far surpass the business of Ranbir Kapoor’s earlier releases like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that collected Rs. 107.61 cr, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that collected Rs. 80.19 cr, Barfi that collected Rs. 58.60 cr, Raajneeti that collected Rs. 56 cr, Besharam that collected Rs. 55.36 cr, Tamasha that collected Rs. 53.46 cr, Rockstar that collected Rs. 49.01 cr, Jagga Jasoos that collected Rs. 46.29 cr, and Roy that collected Rs. 41.77 cr.
If that wasn’t enough, with Sanju still running to packed houses, expectations are that the business of the film will continue to draw in the moolah, and might even emerge as one of the highest grossers of 2018 as well.
