The Sooraj Barjatya directed Salman Khan - Sonam Kapoor starter Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that released last week around Diwali opened well at the box office. The film which has been one of the most anticipated releases of this year has been drawing audiences to theatres.
In this Box Office report we take a look at the Opening Weekend collections of PRDP as compared to Salman Khan's previous releases. Not surprisingly, the film that released on a festive weekend has become the actor's highest opening weekend grosser with collections of Rs. 129.77 crores. In fact, the film has managed to surpass Salman's previous releases like Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 102.6 crores and Ek Tha Tiger that collected Rs. 100.16 crores.
