While Shah Rukh’s multi starrer Happy New Year that released in 2014 still remains as the Highest Opening Day grosser for the actor with collections of Rs. 44.97 cr, Dear Zindagi comes in eighth with collections of Rs. 13.5 cr, just after the actor’s last release Fan that collected Rs. 19.20 cr.
However, Dear Zindagi managed to surpass other SRK starrer My Name is Khan that collected Rs. 8 cr.
