Telling the story of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, Dangal starring Aamir Khan released today. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial that also revolves around the lives of two female protagonists seems to have taken the theatres by a storm. While the response for the same has been stupendous in India, the film has also been receiving a warm welcome abroad.
In fact, Dangal has collected approx. 107k £ / 171k USD Rs. 1.16 cr.] from the Thursday preview screenings at the U.K box office with 3 locations yet to report. Even though, as the country gears up to celebrate a white Christmas, the collections of the film at the box office are expected to grow even during the holiday weekend.
