The Ahmed Khan directed film Baaghi 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani released today in the domestic market. However in the overseas markets the film hit screens a day earlier. Released across 625 screens in the overseas markets the film has taken off on a good note. In the overseas market of UAE/GCC Baaghi 2 has seen stellar business with USD 325K [Rs. 2.11 cr] coming in on Day 1.
Thanks to this massive opening, Baaghi 2 has managed to become the number 1 film in this market. However, when compared to the previous release this year, Baaghi 2 ranks as the second highest opening day grosser after Padmaavat. Apart from this Baaghi 2, that has managed to perform better than previous Fox Star Studio releases like Jolly LLB 2 and Judwaa 2 has now become the production house’s highest opening day grosser in this market.
Currently, looking at the trends and the positive reviews Baaghi 2 is expected to see good growth in business over its opening weekend.
