After collecting Rs. 25.85 crores in its second week, Marathi film Baipan Bhari Deva is keeping the pace on in the third week as well. The film has held on exceedingly well, what with around Rs. 15 crores already coming in. This is simply superb since the film is just not slowing down, hence promising that there is so much more that’s yet to come in.
In the process, the film has also crossed the Rs. 50 crores milestone, which is a huge feat indeed since only a handful of Marathi films have managed to do that, the most notable ones being Sairat, Ved and Natsamrat. However, by all means this is the fastest ever for a Marathi film as the feat has been accomplished in less than 20 days, which is just unbelievable. Moreover, the collections are on a constant upswing which sets it up for a mighty lifetime total ahead.
The manner in which the film is going currently, it should cross Rs. 60 crores by the close of third week and post that it would be all about the kind of trend that it manages till the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which arrives a week later on July 28.
