Tanuja Chandra's new movie Zindagi Ka Safar stars Jimmy Shegill and Amisha Patel in lead roles. The movie tells the story of an upcoming pop star Amisha Patel, who is on the verge of becoming a super-star. At that very moment, an editor of a 'C' grade newspaper, Jimmy Shergill, comes up with an article involving her parents and how she had been abandoned by her mother when she was born. The news opens her eyes and she decides to go in search of her parents. In the meanwhile, her father sues the editor and asks for a compensation of five crores. Jimmy is in a fix, but he sticks to his story. Why did Amisha's mother abandon her? Why did her father kept it a secret? Will Amisha succeed in finding out the truth? Will her mother accept her?
