The first half kept you glued. But the second half was predictable and showed the lazy writing and directing. Sikander is ok, but will work better with serious roles; he looks stupid when smiling. His acting in the first half was satisfying, but then he sucked. Arbaaz Khan supported well. Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor were waste. Neha Oberai was the star. She is hot and has good acting skills. The only one who stood out. Climax sucked. Overall, timepass movie.

The movie is a stylish dark thriller with some dark humour. This is actually common in the movies from the producer, Sanjay Gupta. He’s previously produced Kaante, Musafir, Zinda and many more. Woodstock Villa unfortunately has a story which isn’t that inspiring, and has been used earlier. In addition, the script has some basic faults. That is probably reason for why it flopped. Bad luck for Anupam Kher’s son, Sikandar Kher who had this one as his debut film.

WOODSTOCK VILLA Director: Hansal Mehta Genre: Thriller Cast: Sikandar, Neha Uberoi, Arbaz Khan…
WOODSTOCK VILLA Director: Hansal Mehta Genre: Thriller Cast: Sikandar, Neha Uberoi, Arbaz Khan along with Gulshan Grover, Sachin Khedekar, Gaurav Gera, Dayashanker Pandey, Shakti Kapoor. Now the wait is over! WOODSTOCK VILLA finally releases. The film caters around the kidnapping of a businessman's wife n ransom demanded which follows murder and the mystery starts. WOODSTOCK VILLA is a hardcore thriller which perfectly fits in the Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films category. Its a very stylishly shot film which surprises you very often! Its the kind of film which starts from the first minute, no unwanted crap here..[though many people are saying that songs don't fit in the story..but i think only the introduction song of Sikandar was unwanted..otherwise all songs are put correctly, n the songs have their own freshness in them!] The pre title portion is the best portion of the film! The execution of events is amazing..the film absorbs you completely..only in the intermission you get the chance to think clearly!! The film is the perfect blend of style and substance. Hansal Mehta has handled the subject brilliantly, he has made the film which grabs your attention completely. He has the courage to make this kind of offbeat film n presenting it in so much entertaining manner! Not a single minute this film takes away your attention. The hand-held/jerky camera movements was complete new [for which critics said he's trying to show off his technical gimmickry]. [Yes but there are some bloopers which play spoilsport, you can point them out] S Farhan's writing n Milap Zaveri's dialogues are excellent. Anu Malik's music n Bunty Nagi's editing is very good. And what makes the film stand out is the art direction of Wasiq Khan, Cinematography of Vikas Nowlakha. Background score of Amar Mohile is outstnding which has the power packed impact [too good 10/10]. Sikandar is an actor to watch. He plays his character so easily; his screen presence, dialogue delivery, expressions are up to the mark. He is damn good. 8/10.. Neha Uberoi (the underrated one, right from the promotion till the release) is equally talented! She carries the mature n sexually attractive role with full ease..she's damn good looking! The changes in her body language, her calculated expressions n dialogue delivery is excellent! Another star material. 8/10.. On the whole Hansal Mehta delivers a power packed hardcore thriller within those 1 n a half hour! This is the kind of film which i would like to recommend strongly! I will go with 3.5 out of 5 stars rating! My Rating: 3.5/5 ...........

Woodstock villa directed by Hansal Mahta Woodstock villa is a thriller, starring Sikandar Kher, Neha Uberoi and Arbaaz Khan. As an triller, the film got good twist and turns which may give you good surpirses. They may shock you too. The film will be surely appreciated by Hardcore triller lover. If you are bored a bit with Abass-Mustan trillers, then watch Woodstock villa. That will leave you a nice impression. But the story didn't leave a strong impact to the film, some part should been better, specially the climax. The story is the disparation of Neha Uberoi, the wife of a successful business man, Arbaaz Khan. The kidnapper is Sikandar, and story truned to a nice twist, when Neha murdered. Director Hansal Mehta is strickly ok, he treated well the film. The script here could be better. Dialouge are ok too. Songs which leave some good impression is surely Dhoka, which is picturised on Neha. Other tracks are ok. But the songs annoyed a bit the good thriller. Cinematographt is ok. Careography work is excellent in Dhoka. Sikandar Kher is decent. I am not impress by his look, but his dialogue delivery, actes are really deserved an appludisement. Neha Uberoi look hot and sexy, seductive too. She leaves such a nice impression by her acting. She's one actor to watch out for. Arbaaz Khan as usual is average. On the whole, Woodstock villa is decent film and a nice attemped. But some negetive point to reveal is the first :the script, the screenplay could've been better and the second : the actors are another negative point as the film is their debut films. We better want to do them in stronger film.

After RACE, this is the next film with a twist after twist after twist. For me, it was strictly OK. Nothing great, nothing bad. If you have to kill time, then its safe to enter this villa. Sikander is alright. I guess he needs to join his dad's acting class first. Neha is more in the songs than the scenes. She was impressive nevertheless. Arbaaz, what are you doing in this film? You were so much better when you started off in Daraar. The climax becomes predictable and that is another let down. On the whole, the film is a typical Gupta film- flashes, dark, twisted. Enter this villa at your own risk.
