Saawariya Music Review

Saawariya by most is considered to the most-awaited soundtrack of the year. Sanjay Leela Bhansali films always had great music. Khamoshi, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas had excellent scores. So, we all expect Saawariya to be nothing short of a great score. Plus, Saawariya debuts 4th generation star Ranbir Kapoor, who is represent the first family of Hindi cinema. Also, it debuts Anil Kapoor Sonam Kapoor. It also has the current queen Rani Mukherji and the superstar Salman Khan. Also, it must note that Salman Khan always have great music.

A song that will have its few takes, but eventually it will find its appreciation in the long run. This song is being played on the first promos. Richa Sharma has sung this song very well, as the other singers. But personally, I like this song. Monty composition is well done here also.

9) Pari

Another great, yet simple song. This will find its takers by audience. However, I’m expecting the song to look great on screen. Once again, Monty has done a great song on the composition, and with so far 9 tracks, Monty you have come up with a winning score.

After wonderful simple songs, we get something a little more upbeat. It looks like a Rani Mukherji song based on the way on how the song is sung. Once again, Monty has done a great job with the music in this song, and this song will look great on screen.

11) Saawariya Reprise
Track Length: 3:06

This song is like the first song, but a little different, a little slower. A nice way to end the album!
Rating: 3.5/5

Saawariya, in my opinion, is the best soundtrack of 2007, it beats Partner and Om Shanti Om music. Saawariya should emerge the top selling album of 2007 due to its simplicity. I’m sure and I’m hoping Saawariya sweeps the music awards as the music is wonderful. It appeals to the younger generation as well as the older generation. Those who appreciate simple and love songs, will love Saawariya.

A huge WINNER from the whole Saawariya team!

If you enjoy albums like Partner, then you may not like Saawariya! But if you appreciate and love Devdas, Veer-Zaara, and songs that are soothe and simple, then Saawariya is an album that you will enjoy!
