OSO is a very good entertainer.The first half set in the 70s is excellent.Some of the comedy scenes are hilarious.Special effects used in the song Dhoom tanna are well done.The film somehow falters in the second half which is a little too long.Some parts could have been edited which would have made it more enjoyable.All the songs are excellentely coreographed.SRK as usual is very good.Deepika is gorgeous and Shreyas is also good as pappu master.But Arjun Rampal surprised me the most with his excellent performance as a bad guy. So if u want to see a masala entertaining film, this is a film for u.Please dont think much and dont search for logic in this film otherwise u will not enjoy it.

Indian people don't know how to watch movies, So I wil not care to see the rating that people have given to this movie, I was shocked that, Master Film like JOHNNY GADDAR Bombed at box office and shit films like BLack works, What is there in black to become such a big hit, It should have bee n a documentry and shown in film festivals, Sucess of black remind me the story of "Emperor's new cloth", OM Santi OM is a good movie, everyone should watch it once, we should not comment on a film when the film makers themself are saying that their movie is not the all time best movie of indian cinema, and they themself say it is a senseless time pass movie, A Veiwer must go and watch the movie with that sprit. Who said AMAR AKBAR ANTONY has any sense, and evern Karz, OM Santi OM should be watch as those movies, or even you can catogorise it to Scary Moive, MY Review, Sharukh khan is the king the proves it, with is SIX pack abs, ( we have to give it to the man, is is above 40), and Rober Denero type of acting at some parts, so grate, Deepek is wonderful at some times, but in the later half, there was not thing special of her, she looked normal. I am having a very tough time understanding, why Taran gave OSO 4 stars and Saawariya 1.5. I am also having a equally tough time understanding why most of the Indian film industry is biased against good filmmakers such as the Sanjay Bhansalis, Vinod Chopras, Anurag Kashyaps and the likes. If OSO deserved 4 stars, Saawariya deserved 4.5. If Farah Khan can make a film where you leave logic before you watch the film, why are critics bashing up Sanjay Bhansali for telling his story in a fairytale town? Yes, in terms of business, OSO is doing and will continue to do good, mainly because of SRK. But it is very sad to see a good film like Saawariya being trashed/thrashed like that. Now, Saawariya is not the best Sanjay Bhansali movie, but when compared to OSO, it is much better. Now OSO is an okay entertainer. I understand that OSO was never meant to be artistic, but cinema is a form of art isn't it? It lacks the art that Saawariya in my personal opinion has lots of. I pose a question to Farah. If OSO was meant to be that non artistic, why waste the talent of SRK? Just because he is a friend? I very much applaud the attempt, but from talking to people here, OSO has failed. Farah, I don't have any grudge against you, but maybe film making is not your cup of tea. I personally think that you make your actors overact. But then again, OSO is doing better than Saawariya, and that is what counts these days, doesn't it? Only the numbers count, and not the cinema, not the art. Cinema (even the masala pictures) should have something to convey, whether it is a message or art. Unfortunately, OSO does none. Anurag Kashyap's No Smoking conveyed a message, it was beautifully shot, good story, maybe a little melodramatic, but good nevertheless. But did it get what it deserved in India? Unfortunately not. It was acclaimed in other parts of the world. O wait, we are not talking about No Smoking are we? It just makes me upset when an established critique like Taran Adarsh gives good points to a bad movie, but gives bad points to a good one.

Its more cheap comedy than ACTING..... come on man....people says you are KING KHAN...atleast act like a King...If you can't then take a break like AAMIR...& then come back with various performance in each movie & atlest try for 1 nomination for Oscar. I prefer that ther should be RAJU SHRIVASTAV in this movie instead of Shahrukh. He is better actor than King Khan.

Really pathetic!!. the reviews of taran adarsh and 4/5 rating is another proof that he is pimp of yash chopra, karan johar and farah alikes. That man know nothing about movies. his review about saawariya proves my point even further, taht mother fucker needs to understand that bollywood is not always about masala movies full of romance, drama and over the top artificial emotions. that dog has declared OSO a hit even before its release. everyone can see that right from the start hez trying to prove that OSO is a bigger film. As for the Sanjay leela bhansali, he dont need such pimps to prove anything, he is a brilliant director, a creative mastermind. where as farah khan,..well her movies are as pathetic as her choreography, now that she is getting old and cant shake her bums so she is trying her filthy hands in direction just to stay in lime light, how pathetic is that? so in a nutshell stay away from this filth.
