So it is a King Khan production with good friend FK. Movies are meant to be entertainers. Does OSO offer what the promos promised? Does it live up the expectations of the audience? Let us analyze The first thing about OSO is that it is a very colourful and young product. In fact i would say that OSO had something new to offer to the people in terms of style of movie making and the concepts used. It is a good to see that SRK and FK experiment with things in the business. This gives the movie the extra edge i.e. the story of the movie is very simple and of course you can draw comparisons from movies like Karz, Karan Arjun etc, but what make OSO unique - the way it is presented + SRK power + Deepika Padukone who is stunningly innocent + the plethora of stars in the Deewangi song which let out a lot of whistles in the theatre + wonderful music. Looking at the performances - Deepika Padukone will steal all the young hearts while the old hearts will turn young again. Her performance was like Monalisa(the painting) - mesmerizing. Even though time was pass by it will be one performance which will be remembered. SRK - Anything said for or against his performance does not matter because it is SRK & SRK knows he is the best. And that is why even if you try to pull him down saying, 'Oh, he acts the same in all films' then i would say one thing - it is very difficult to be perfect again and again but still SRK does it time and again :). The supporting cast was again superb in all respects.

MAHA BAKWAAS movie of 2007 .... it goes into category of Aag, no smoking .... I dont understand how media hype this movie as 4-5 star rated movie .... such a bore movie .... 40% of auddience left theatre in middle of second half ... srk-farah loose their faith ... farah proove her to be fuccckkkin director ... i am sure a lot of money would be given to media .... i wonder how the whole media doin favour of this ghatiya movie ....

The most honest review you will ever find. Om Shanti Om Overall Om Shanti Om is a good flim. Yes its just "good". There is nothing so special about it. The presentation is fabulous, the story-line is ok and it seems the cast and the crew had a blast making this movie. But as a fan of bollywood movies and a movie maker myself i was disappointed in the movie. The movie was not that special, the first part made me laugh and made me exicited but after the rebirth part, the movie slowed down to a 0 velocity, i was waiting for the movie to be over. The story could have been change a little bit, for example the shanti priya look-alike in 2007 should have been a work of plastic surgery. this was only thing i disagreed with in the movie otherwise everything else is fine. Deepika steals the show here, she is just fabulous. I have been a SRK fan since my childhood and even if he does the bad job i would still like his work. But i was a little disappointed, it seemed to me as if he was bored doing these kinds of role over and over again. Like his other movies his performance didn't make me feel what the character felt. He performed according to the script and the blame doesn't go to him, its the writer should have done a better job. Pappu master is awesome in the movie but his role lacks importance in the second half. Kiron kher is good. Arjun Rampal is awesome, he is just perfect for the role. and other actors are good. The major flaw in OSO is its script, especially the second half of the movie should have been written better. The scene where OK remembers his past life and goes back to his mom, seems like a scene of no great value to the move. Also the end should have been a little more action-packed, but this is not a big problem. Overall OSO is a good movie. It didn't turn out to be as good as it was hyped. And the only flaw of the movie was the second half where everything just slows down completely. But this is just my personal opinion, so don't take my word for it and go and watch it and decide it for yourself.

Old Wine in new bottle. This movie is a rehash of the typical bollywood movies we have watched in the previous two decades. There is nothing new or exciting. For whiling away 3 hours, it is OK, but I don't see why critics are going gaga over it. SRK factor I guess. Not even the best SRK movie - but watch it if you have nothing else to do. Not as good as the reviews make it out to be, just like Sawariya is not as bad as they say. The much talked about 70s part and jokes are also not that great. overall an OK movie.

Wonderful acting and chemistry between all the actors and possibly the best soundtrack in the last decade to come out of Bollywood! This one's a shoe-in for Best Picture this year!
