It's a pity that one of the most followed film critique, Mr.Taran Adarsh, is going down and down in terms of his standards as well as movie sense. Agree that saawariya is a tad too slow and has "difficult to digest" kind of grandeur. But that has always been the USP of a passionate movie maker known by the name of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It's kind of stupid og Mr.Taran to give a whooping 4 star rating to a movie of the standard of OSO. It deserves no more than 3 stars thanks to a brilliant first half. The 2nd half is boringly long and has one song too many. The dastan-e-OSO doesnt work at all. sharukh is wonderful in the first half but his antics in 2nd half leave a lot to be desired.
Deepika hardly looks like a newcomer. Farah Khan has done a good job on her. Everyone knows farah makes masala movies well. She has excelled here also. Only that the "Deewanagi" song and the "ek hasina thi" type "Daastan" Song make the moviegoer yawn sometimes.
The movie is a complete masala film with no brains at all. It has all the thing a SRK fan wants. But i will still maintain that it does not deserve the 4 star rating even in my wildest dreams.
Taran needs to do a rethink about his movie sense or should stop reviewing the movies with which INDIAFM is associated with. There is always a sense of manipulation and partialness when it comes to taran's reviews.
