money hai toh honey hai,the new venture of eros fails neither to grab money nor honey.its concept is very low profile and the second mistake is the poor execution of the project.the story is a poor tale from the start to the end.the screen play is a salvage for the first thirty mins, but it too starts to fumble after he first 30 mins. the dialouges are vert poor.the direction is alright.the music is average.there are many per formances but the one who stand out are upen patel and aftab shivdasani.govinda is shattered into pieces and overacts a bit in the second hour manoj bajpai is reduced to zero in the movie. the actor tries his best to gain momentum but fais to do so.aftab shivdasani lives up to the expectations of the audience.his work is the sal vage of the show.upen patel's scenes are really funny and his performance is also good.celina is as usual.hansikaa disappoints a lot.a lot of overacting.archana puran singh is alright.ravi kisshen fails to impress.overall money hai toh honey hai stands on a weak script with no soul in it.

This film reminds me of the tales that suggest how producers interfere with the director's and writer's work to make sure that their films have all the right ingredients of a masala film. If that is not the case, I think the writer and the director will find this film as a learning experience. Nothing more, definitely not something to be proud of. What they can probably exclaim about is only : Honey, I made a film! To my mind, a very strong subject was picked up in the middle of the story, and a mockery of the same was seen - the loose way it was handled. The story line has already been discussed, however an attempt at the perception of the film maker for this movie is as follows: The middle class is caught in an unescapable circle. What they believe and is just, is not what they can stand by with, if they want to make a decent life for themselves. Some of them have ideas to bring about a change in the society but they need a miracle to survive till then. Some of them, believe in themselves and loose the very few friends who were with them in better times. After all, Money hai, To honey hai!(And the title is repeated a few times -probably to justify it). If these few idealistic middle class dreamers would have it, they would bring about a change in the system. What will happen, if 6 of such mavericks (mavericks - at least for the existing system) get together and also have a fortune! A lot of money at their disposal! They would make their dreams come true and also fight the fight of the common man. And before I forget, the title is Oh so good, and Oh so misplaced. Such a waste!

I went no expectations whatsoever for this film. And I wont regret to say that I did have a few laughs! Alas it was all short lived. Its not a comedy caper, its more of a comedy disaster. Its about 6 loosers and their way to earn the money. There are a few funny lines, Rakhee Tandon apeing Ekta, the saas-bahu series effect, big brands tag lines taken for a joke etc. But the film fails to keep you connected. Its like different tv episodes that are put together to make a film. Its a disaster post interval. Govinda is ok. Manoj B is likeable at times. Hansika hams to the core. Upen displays his body more than his talent [or the lack of it] Aftab does not have much to do. Celina, Kim Sharma, Ravi K, Pran are of no use. Ganesh's first film SWAMI was so much better than this one. He goes downhill here. All I can say is HONEY I want my MONEY back!
